Why We Exist
I did not set out to build a studio. I set out to solve something I kept seeing, in the people around me and in myself.

People doing one thing well and starving for the rest. The strong ones who never learned to be still. The calm ones who never built strength.
Everyone working so hard on their bodies, and so alone while they did it.
Â
I know that split from the inside. I have been the strong one holding everything together and quietly coming apart. I have carried grief I did not have language for, and I found my way back to myself on a mat, one breath at a time, long before I ever thought to teach.Â

I am also a mother of three. I have moved my life across the world and started over more than once. I know what it costs to rebuild, and I know you cannot pour from a body running on empty. Everything I teach, I learned by needing it first.

We were built to be whole. The world kept handing us back in pieces. So I built a house where the pieces come back together. Strength, mobility, and recovery under one roof, and a community that actually sees you.

I teach in the lineage of Sri Dharma Mittra, and I have learned from some of the most respected teachers in the world. But the thing I am most proud of is not on a certificate. It is the way this place feels when it is full, the way people stay after class because they are in no hurry to leave.

Opening Akasha was the scariest thing I have done. I did it anyway, because I could not keep this to myself.

This is a house for your whole self. However you arrive, you are welcome. We will grow from there.
